Why waiting on the world to change???

Since today is my first day using this, I thought it would be nice to explain the tittle. Well the fastest and easiest reason to tell you would be because I love this song, bla bla bla, but it's not at all about the song, it's about the true meaning of this phrase or popular saying. I'm actually waiting on the world to change, because to be frank I don't feel I'm doing anything to help it change, well maybe not just right now, because currently I'm not working, my work is a real good contribution to the world, and I mean "magnormous", but since I'm not working well, you get the point. Some would say it's childish or unrealistic to wait on some changes.
People killing, dying (for no health reason), hurting, hunting, and I could go on all night long; it's a bit depressing to see things this clear..... but right now, that's all I can think of....
well that's all for now, reality is pulling my arm right now, have to go back...
